Medical insurance can be used for medical eye conditions and complaints. Medical insurance does not cover eyeglass prescriptions or contact lens evaluations.

Routine vision plans are for individuals that do not have any specific complaints and are wanting a new glasses and/or contact lens prescription. The ocular health will be checked and if a problem is found, it will be monitored and/or treated under medical insurance.
